Where to put baby?

Post by finchlover1 » Sun Jul 17, 2011 9:24 pm

Yep, Lyn, again. I posted that the daddy was really going after one of the babies now. Originally with mom, she went after it and the baby was transferred to dad for awhile. Had to take baby out. Where to put him? Back with mom. Now I notice that the baby is now not happy with the other two babies. Not plucking or anything, just in their faces. Flies around the cage non stop, mom not happy about that. I'm going to bed and when I wake in the morning, I'll see who won. I'm pooped already.

When you move them, it take a bit of adjustment time in the new cage, even if they are siblings.

I agree with Gary Lyn.
Whenever I move any of my birds I try to make sure to do it early in the morning, to make sure that they have time to adjust and work out the new pecking order before bedtime.
