May I ask? How do you manage to crawl out of bed now that you wake up to that? :D

That is very nice....your birds must be thrilled! Do you have the light on a timer so you don't have to leave bed to turn it on!!! I think I would stay in that room all day!! Great job!

Very nice!! =D>

I wish I could use fake flowers in my aviary, but I'm afraid that they look too flashy and the budgies will eat them. I avoid anything that has too much color and/or berries or glitter, and stick to the plain ivy and ferns.

I really like your setup and they look happy.
Walk-in aviary with Waxbills (6 Cordon Bleu, 3 Orange Cheek, 3 Black-rumped, 1 Lavender, ), 1 European Goldfinch, 4 Gouldians, 2 Spice Finches, 6 Owl Finches, 4 Budgies and 2 male Button Quail.
I also have 2 parrotlets, 3 dogs, 1 snake and 3 freshwater fishtanks.

Rancel; I have been on the list a while, and reading your posts; just reviewed the one you had on your aviary, and it's just beautiful. You did a great job =D> =D> I'm in the process of doing an aviary & have been getting lots of great ideas from folks under the "Housing" category.

Rancel I am curious as to what the frame was it looked like a shelving unit or did you build the frame yourself? I have a double oak shelving unit in the guest house that could be transformed into an aviary and your set up has got me thinking that can be dangerous......
