heat lamps
okay in my bird shed im gunna have a heat lamp to keep the birds abit warmer in winter how ever the birds will be free flying in this shed how do i stop them buring them selfs on it i know u can use a guard but do u have any examples as i cant seem to find anything on the internet

I ordered one from i-marketcity.com and it was a stand heater for indoor/outdoor use. You can find it under patio heaters.

Heat pumps and wall mounted units.
To cover a heat lamp you can take 1/4 inch metal mesh, make a cyliner or box with a bottom, a top with a hole for the cord...drop the lamp into it and keep the bottom of the lamp slightly from touching the wire. Secure the cord onto the wire with zip ties to keep it in place within the wire mesh box.
