HQ Double Flight Cage Modification

I just wanted to share that I think the HQ double flight cage is great and my Gouldians really seem to enjoy it, but there is a gap between the two flights where the divider slips in, and it allows seed and droppings to fall through. I fixed this by cutting a Wiremold flat screen TV cord cover (purchased from a local hardware store) so that it fits in the gap. This prevents things from falling down in between the two flights.

Cindy, please do. I picked it up at Home Depot for about $15.00 and there was plenty to make two. Thank you Debbie. I just switched from the ECO liter (little crinkle cut pieces of paper) to white cage liners. I could leave the ECO in for a week and seed settled down in the bottom so the birds couldn't get it to scatter when they fly around. The down side is they like to bathe a lot, and a small area would stay wet (I worried abound mold). The liners get changed every day so no mold problems, but they scatter seed husks now. Any ideas or suggestions?
