Finally Finished, And All Set!

Post by FinchFlurry » Tue Sep 06, 2011 11:54 pm

I'm finally finished my cage! I had soo much fun building it

I painted the back orange to match my room, but it also brings out the green in the leaves, and kinda gives it a tropical/jungle/forest feel, haha.

So here is the basic progress:

That's so beautiful! You are really savvy with your hands. I'm so jealous. You will make the perfect hub hub for the equivalent finch loving lady. =D> Did you do the artistic painting/design on the side panels? It really is beautiful and you should be so proud. Double pats on the back to you! :) Thank you for sharing.
God is my redeemer and it is through Him I have found eternal happiness. I am grateful, I am blessed, and I am truly loved. I wish all this and more for all members of our finch forum family. May you all be blessed and highly favored. <3

Whoopsie Daisy! So sorry. #-o This is foolish, but I assumed that since you were so excellent with wood, you were a boy. I could never do such a thing and a lot of women on this forum have wonderful husbands who are the most superb architects/carpenters when it comes to building things. Triple kudos to you for defying odds and being so talented. =D>

Haha, no problem. I understand why you would assume that. It's not the first time it's happened to me.

I've never done anything girly, since i was always surrounded by men my whole life. So I guess I tend to do more things that guys would usually do.

But it shouldn't matter if you're a boy or girl, anyone can do it, and theres no harm in learning how do do more

Thank you again, I appreciate the compliment
