I'm back! (with a question...)

Maybe some of you remember me from a few years ago. I was one of the first to upgrade to the HQ double flight cage. Anyway, after a job loss scare, selling the birds and cage and moving to the pacific northwest, buying another house and moving again, and remodeling almost every room in the "new" (old) house, I have now ordered a new HQ double flight cage (these things are more expensive than they were several years ago!), and am considering what to put in it.

My first choice is a canary. I miss the canary I had back in our old place in Utah terribly. So I will have a single male canary. But I want a bit more adventure. I hope you all will tell me that in a cage that big, I could house a pair of zebra finches with the canary. I love their little singing too. I may even let the zebs breed at some point. Can you imagine a house with a nice canary singing and a couple of clown zebras beeping away?

Any thoughts or experiences?

Hi StevePax, I remember you, and I remember when you got that HQ double flight cage, I thought that was so expensive! Yes, they've gone up a lot in price. And welcome back!!

I can't help you with the compatibility issue, as I don't have a canary. I think people have them mixed in aviaries, but I have no idea about cages. Hopefully, someone will come on here and help you. The HQ double flight is such a good size, that you would think it would be plenty for three birds.
