So I finally finished the stand/cupboard and managed to get the it and the cage in my closet (since I have no doors) Thought I could use the curtain as a cover for nightime

because there isnt a lot of sunlight that comes in after 9 am, someone suggested I use an aquarium lamp with full spectrum lights.

So I bought a single strip lamp, and for now, Im trying to figure out a way to mount it, because im not sure i can just leave it on top of the cage...

I took pictures of the final product, giving myself an idea what it will look like when i decide what to do with the lamp, and i wanted to share them with you :D
Also, if you have any tips regarding the light, please let me know!

Nice flight. Make sure you give them adequate lighting. My GS love the sun.

You can leave the lamp right on top of the cage, it will be fine. Most of my lamps sit on top of the cages. I use fluorescent tubes in shop light fixtures, and I buy the lamps labeled 'sunshine' or 'daylight'.

Clever use of the space--I like it!

I did best as I could with the lighting. Some light does come in during the day, because the front of the cage is facing the window in my room, but not enough, Thats why I put the daylight lamp on top.
( this photo was taken at night so the room looks kinda dark)

I cant have them anywhere else in the house, so I tried to make do with what I had

EDIT:

And thanks guys! i'm glad you approve!
