Ugh. I just heard a bunch of squaking from the finch room and went imm to see...one of my female finches hanging upside down with her leg caught on the side of the swing in the cage.
I sucessfully got the bird untangled from the swing and found that the leg was not broken ](*,) just to have the bird fly away. As I do not have a bird net I quietly followed her around for a while and ended up tossing a piece of light fleece on her. While I was re-checking that her leg was not broken, or bleeding, but bruised...I did notice that her beak is uneven,,,the bottom much longer than the top. I need to look up beak trimming for RCCBs.

If you are using a rope/tread swing, you need to make sure the finches do not have long, overgrown nails.

As far as the trimming the beak, be careful, bird beaks have nerves in it so trim carefully. Make sure they have cuttlebone in their cage.
