Live aviary webcam open to FinchForum readers today 10-15-11

If you've been thinking about a setting up an aviary webcam, it is really simple. To give you an idea of what view you may get and how you access it via the web, I've created a log in account for the readers here for today.

Go to http://flyinverted.dlinkddns.com:81

You really do need that "81" at the end. If not you'll get a username and password for the "other" webcam and that one is not open to the public just yet.

username is finchforum
password is gouldian

The back of my home is up against a busy street so you'll hear plenty of cars drive by. No guarantee you'll see many birds, but you'll hear them for sure! The food and water bowls are directly under the camera and that's where a lot of the birds spend the day. I'll be putting my 2 African greys and Cockatoo outside in thier outdoor cages soon and you'll hear "Sassy" doing his thing. You may hear cats, monsters, people laughing, sirens, clapping, whistling. Sassy is an African Grey who loves to be outside.

The :81 goes after the .com

You should be able to just click on the URL. If not cut and paste this into your browser

Let me know how that works for you.

I saw your little owl and 2 lavenders having a ball eating the millet hanging there! Nice set up. I love live webcams of birds, so neat to just sit and watch them!

Thanks for the link!

The video kept freezing up, but I still enjoyed watching the finches. You have the same thermometer as we have outside.
