Well we thought we had a new cage coming to us by buying on ebay. But at the last minute the seller will not ship to me here in Ontario Canada and it is just the right size for the table I would like to sit it on.

So are there any good sites out there that will ship to Ontario Canada? We are looking for a cage about the size of 38 to 40 inches long, 20 to 25 inches deep and the height about 30 to 35.

Check this one out, it's close.........I was looking at flight cages and saw this one. 2 cages together makes a very roomy cage. The sides can be used to extend it. I hope this is okay to post links.

Each cage is 30" by 18" by 36"

That is the seller that backed out of our sale at the last minute the other day.... Badddd seller!!!

No offense, but where it says "ships to" it says United States. So its really not the sellers fault. They must have realized you lived somewhere they do not ship to.

Oh no I emailed and asked and he/she gave me a shipping quote and we figured it out and thought still a good deal, the colour we wanted everything but just as I was abuot to buy and I emailed one last time to see about when it would be shipped out due to the fact my husband would be out of town and would not be able to pick it up at the post office if it were to come in while he was a way he/she emailed and said no they had changed their minds. In total about 6 emails before backing out......

Gee...........I had no idea. I've never dealt with the seller, just saw 2 decent cages that made one close to the specs.

You know, those cages really aren't worth that much anyway. She makes all her profit on shipping those to you, b/c I promise it does not cost that much to ship

You should look around more, find more private bird shops. I think that same exact cage is at a shop around here for about $44.99

The cages around here in Ontario are so expensive it hard to believe just a small flight cage about 36 x20x20 is 65.00 to 75.00 and that is without our taxes on top of that. So I thought two cages that make a large one if or when I need it would be great. I wont tell you what the shipping was going to be if you thought the 60.00 to ship within the US was high.....

Hopfully they will ship at a good price for Canadians. If not then I might have to buy second hand which I really don't want to do because then I will have to use cleaning materials to make sure it is healthy and I really dont want to do that. With new I just wash it with realllly hot water and wait a short while and then moved my birds in.

They have free shipping within continental US, but also say check for quotes to Canada, so they must ship to Canada, just don't know how much. The only down side is they sell most of their cages in multiples, but if cages are so expensive in Canada, and the shipping is not too much, perhaps you could sell the extra cages at least for what you paid, and maybe even more.

This is a site I found looking for wire to build a couple small aviaries and I need wire. I'm skeptical about 1" x 2" spacing but think it will work. They ship to Canada.
There's nothing like constructing the cage you want and an old cage can be used for the front to access feed and drink. Plywood sides secures the structure and provides breeding birds security, since they only need to look for danger to the sides and seem to be more secure. I find large cages are best at eye level, and on a thrown together table. Below us seems to scare them and I keep everything beginning at table height, about 32". On the bottom, personal creativity comes to play there for droppings. 4' x 4' x 8 foot long provides for some good space. To get it, one must construct it to ones own liking.
Only way to go, then one can satisfy that finch itch / addiction with adequate space when that new one is brought home. A 4' florescent natural light can be placed on top.
