Exciting plans for my new aviary

I'm so excited I can't stand it. Yesterday I cleaned all 5 cages & have the new cage almost set up. Today I got some fantastic ideas (after reading posts on "Housing" subject) & I'm getting very close to my new aviary. To recap, I bought this 34W 24D 41H (TV stand?) w/2 bottom doors for fifteen bucks.

I will paint the inside back Powder Blue. I had a bird/small animal playpen of blue, yellow, green & red 9x13 panels that I will staple on the left side side slats, 3 horizontal, 2 vertical on one side, 21x13 plexiglass on bottom of that side. The double wide cage I bought for $100 was a/k/a sugar glider cage & came w/four 8x16 panels. On the right side slats I'll staple 3 9x13 colored panels horizontal, 2 vertical 8x16 black panels, w/plexiglass on bottom of that side. With the plexiglass on the side bottoms, I will allow for doors to be cut in.

I will frame two of the 8x16 black panels at the top of the cage front to be slided sidewise for an access door at the top of the cage. Plexiglass will finish off the front, allowing a space at the bottom for 3 pullout trays.

The 3 trays are nursery flats & the square dowel frame was a $2 magazine rack stand.

Also have 3 large pieces of Ikea FasBo ($2.50 ea at thrift store); it's like a countertop surface, that will be glue to the bottom of the structure & up the sides a bit depending on left over pieces.
