water fountains

Has anyone put a Water Fountain in their flight cage successfully?
There must be some configuration that would stay clean longer. I'm trying to brainstorm on it. Would be a great way for the birdies to be entertained.

It will be interesting to see what the experts say about your question. I too have thought about the fountain for when I build an aviary. Good luck.

We tried using a fountains some time ago, but found it to be too labor intensive to keep clean all of the time. The birds did like it alot, but they fowled the water to often to keep it sanitary. If someone has a way to keep it sanitary I'd be interested in hearing about it myself because I really find the sound soothing along with all of the birds calling.
