Paint your aviary/cage!
I started paining the welded mesh of my aviary today.
In my mind this is one of the most important things you need to do. Especially if you love watching your flock. The black colour on the mesh makes it near invisible.
Note the difference between the top painted half and the bottom unpainted half. I will be finishing the rest during the day.

use a green paint , that gives the best results !!

i have used a matt black on my wire and it looks great, makes birds stand out brill!
A quick question for you rayray, have seen your vid on utube, your avairy planting looks great, what plants are they that you have used, and what specie of bamboo is it, thanks, Gaz.

Hecks, Longtails, Pearl Headed Silverbills, Star Finches, RH Parrots, Phorbes Parrots, Green Singers, Diamond Firetails, Red Hooded Siskins, Diamond Doves, Mountain Quail and Blue Scale Quail.

That's one thing I like about using the plastic hardware mesh for my flight. Its already black, so no need to paint! However, you can't use the plastic stuff outside, its too weak to hold up against predators.
