I don't have enough experience with zebras to make suggestions but did want to wish you best of luck. :)

My suggestion would be to keep an eye on who the parents eye to keep track! Good luck!

Not only do you need to keep track of what offspring came from what set of parents...you will need to monitor aggression and nest raiding. The cage is certainly large enough and with plenty of nesting sites to choose from....offer two separate feeding stations, it may help as well.

its day 4 for them. all the 4 pairs keep flying together even they share the same breeding box as well. 5 go inside and rest sitting top of it. I dont know what you call this situation. what to do.....give them some more time to settle down?

I would give them a bit of time to settle in. right now it is a new situation and they are all learning the feel of the inside of the flight. If they were kept in a smaller cage the vast space of a flight may seem overwhelming to them.

I found if you partially cover the top of a flight and provide some sort of plant or places to hide it will give them a bit of security.

Right now there is security in numbers....they will need a bit longer to adjust.

farhanmazhari,

Very nice aviary! I think that is plenty of room for those birds. You should add some aviary safe trees/plants to the set up! Love the nests you have hung up in there. I wish I could find some like that here in Canada!

@waxbill lover, many thanks.....the nest pots are commonly used here in Pakistan and are very cheap as well....i guess i can accommodate approx 100 pairs in this aviary.

I agree some greenery up high in the corners and maybe around the nests should work well to give some hiding places as well as beauty.... Good Luck!

Looks nice. I'm sure your birds are loving the space to fly around, not sure I would put 200 birds (100 pair) in there though.
Best of luck

May I ask what the nests are made of, they look very interesting.

That is a huge flight....they should do well in there!

They are very intersting! I imagine they are cooler in the warmer months.
