Hi, I have two cages that are 24'x16'x16' and I'm thinking about combining them to make a bigger cage. I'd like to put my zebra finches in it. I have 2 pairs of zebra finches and I'd eventually like them to breed but would they breed in the same cage if I combine the two cages? Thank you.

well the cage would be 48x16 so 2 or 3 birds can fit

What if it was 24'x32'x16'? I was thinking about making it taller. Which would be better?

The longer would be better, longer is always better than taller with finches. Taller is good for hookbills so they can climb. I think you may be able to fit both pairs in the loner version, just watch very carefully for aggression.

Thank you. If they do get aggressive I'll be able to separate them again.
