Afternoon. I am wondering if there is some sort of attachable bird bath? I have one that is enclosed on the bottom of the cage, but they don't seem to like it. They sure have enjoyed their baths in the past, and just need some ideas for one that will attach the the side of the cage a bit higher up?

Shantel,
We bought a couple of those long double feeders and fill them with water and clip it to the inside of the cage. They are white and about 6-7 inches long and we got them from Wisconsin Exotics. The only thing with those is they are not enclosed and Zebras have a tendency to splash.

You can get this bubble kind that attaches to a side door on the cage - it has tabs on top and a lip on the bottom, so it is secure, but you can take it off easily for refreshing the water, and it limits the splashing somewhat. I don't remember the brand of mine but there are different ones available.

Thanks. I have the double water things that clip on to the cage. I just thought something enclosed would be kinda cool. I have seen those ones you clip to the doors, owever, mine is not a lift up door, it's a swing out door? Wonder if it would work?

Hmm not sure what you mean by enclosed, then. The one in my picture I use on a cage that has a swing out door ... you open the door, hook the bath on, and the bath keeps the door propped open.

Hi, the one you showed is exactly what I was thinking. I have seen those in the stores. If your door swings insteads of lifts then it should work on my cage. I'll be taking a trip to Petsmart tomorrow! Thanks.

I purchased the one shown, however, it will not work on a door that swings open. Only the slide up and down doors works with it. Boo!

Shantel maybe you should try this hand made bath that I made....
Its a plastic bottle I got at Walmart. I lay it on its side and cut a large opening leaving a higher side then I covered the edges with electrical tape.
My birds love it and more than one can bath at the same time.

ranchnanny I like your solution, but how offten you change water in bath? It's a bit complicated to take out this bottle bath out of cage every day.

Oh, good ideas. I think I have a bottle like that. I bought the Vision Bird Bath, enclosed blue dome.

The above link is to a bird bath that attaches on any part of your cage with a screw/bolt attachment, which is easy to use and my finches love this bath! It keeps water in and poop out, except if they go while bathing. LOL. It's not too expensive either and my fledges can use it safely without being too deep.
