one of my cages

This is the cage for my young finches. I cut out the middle so they can fly between both.

Very nice, I bet they love all that room to stretch their wings.

Great job!!! The finches will love that extra flight space....will you be adding more?

I think that would be okay as long as there is no breeding going on.

I notice the cage appears to be outdoors...? You won't be able to open the access doors of the cage while it's outside - inevitably some will escape if you do.

It is on a screened in porch. Which is good because two have already got out.

It's a great cage... and my birds slip by me and get out quite often, I have actually learned now sometimes if I need to catch one I will see if I can get it to fly out of the cage door..then gently scoop it up with a net, rather than tearing up the whole cage and disturbing everyone..works for me! LOL but glad to hear you have screened porch cause thats what ran thru my mind...if that were mine I would lose birds within a day! LOL
