My new flight cage!

Post by beccafigs » Mon Feb 04, 2008 7:04 pm

I finally got around to uploading some pictures in the gallery.

http://www.finchforum.com/gallery/displ ... p?pos=-547

That's before I got everything under the cage organized.

That's after I got things more organized and rearranged things a bit. Mine's not decorated as nicely as Featherharp's though!

I'm so happy with it, and my birds seems really happy too. :)

Your cage set up is great! You have wonderful taste in cages...

You have it decorated very nicely...and the storage under the cage looks neat as a pin. :D

If you're like me you will be arrangin and re-arrainging for awhile to get it "just right". I am always changing my mind...lol!

Thanks all. I'm loving the cage, and I'm already thinking of how nice another one would be right next to it... :) Then I can get more birds!

Featherharp- I rearrange the cage pretty much every time I do a thorough cleaning. I always change out toys at the least and change up the perches sometimes. I do always make sure to put in a couple of their favorite things, but I've accumulated so much stuff for them I have to change it up!

Hilljack- I think so too! My hubby on the other hand does not. :( I suppose it makes sense, as we are still in an apartment... I already got him to agree to an outdoor aviary as soon as we have a house. Then I can have LOTS of birds. :) Now I really can't wait to find a house.

That's awesome. I've seen your other posts where you mention your bird room. I'm a little jealous, I must say. Hopefully in the next year we'll have a house and as soon as I am unpacked I will want to get started on the aviary. :) Then I can think about having more birds.

i have cage slike that as well, And although not as MANY will fit in my bird room as my stackables i LOVE them,
Plus on nice sunny days i can wheel everyone out onto the porch,

This summer we have to tear our deck down and rebuild, Id lOVE to add abird enclosure to one side of it, BUT We have raccoons, skunks and possums come up every night so am Abit worried about that.

anyway back to YOUR cage it looks GREAT

Fancie Flight- Thank you! Did you see the instructions on building an enclosure in the Finch Info Center? I'm planning to do that as soon as I have a house! It's an easy design and it might be sturdy enough for you.

Ah well good luck with that then, I've never had raccoons around so I don't know. Growing up we had coyotes chow down on some of our pets but now I'm in the city.
