Would this be an OK enclosure

Morning :D

I am going to build an aviary once Ive cleared the spare room out & err broke news to husband :wink:

Meantime, would this be an OK breeding environment for 2 finches(picture 1 &2)

With the door design I can see possible bird escapes. Also unless you have LOTS of light in that area the birds will be in a very dark environment with no easy way to add lighting. Not to mention lack of fresh air. :(

If that is the one that is advertised for $350, you could get a much more appropriate cage for less. In fact, if this would be a temporary situation, a 30x18x18 cage would work very well for a pair of finches for a fraction of the money. What species of finch?
