I'm going to make a stress perch, I have the perch, some White tough corrugated plasticy stuff, lol, forget it's name, is it ok to use crazy glue?

I put it in my cuts to heal them and I'm ok, just want to check, thanks:)

I don't see why you can't use crazy glue. You sound like my husband, he's in construction and always has his crazy glue with him LOL

Well I made a perch, no glue, it wouldn't stick, I improvised and just slotted and jammed it all together, my cubicles are a bit wide but the cordon blue loves it, the others still think it's some kinda perch monster, lol

I never used a stress perch, let us know how your birds like it once they get used to it, if they ever do. :)

Coroplast is insteresting stuff, there are a lot of glues that will NOT stick to it. I made a few cages and poop trays out of it, and had to use tape, as silicone sealant and a few other adhesives that I tried would not stick well.

I made a stress perch and it worked out well. In my case a dominate bird would "claim" the entire perch for himself, chasing off any other bird that lands on it. The dividers keeps him in his own "cubicle" and the other birds can use the perch w/o him chasing them off.

What is a Stress Perch? Do you have pictures of one?

Super Glue I was told is safe for birds, Dr. Alison a long time Bird Vet. said she uses it all the time, she used it on a Parrot who broke his beak he is fine now.

A stress perch is a perch that has walls to separate the perch into areas for individual birds. It's supposed to ease any stress from bullying birds on the perch.

So, I got the local bird store to make me one too, It would have been better if they had made them a bit higher but the birds seem happy, they use mine and this one, think Ill buy some palm leaf and make more of my own to fit each cage.

Took the birds(except the cordon blue  )a week or so to try it out but now they use it off and on during the day, heres a couple pics :D
