Nesting Materials
What is the best type of nesting materials for Zebra finches?

Anything that will hold the shape in a nest. I've used Orchard Grass, Timothy Hay, Coconut Fiber, even sheets of paper towel.

Dried grass , hay , coco fibre , feather's , sometime's they will pluck each other
Personally I wouldnt give them any type of paper towel , I find it hold's moisture and probably bacteria
while the chick's are growing in the nest

The one thing I would avoid is the white string that comes in little boxes meant to be hung on the cage bars--you often find this item for sale in pet shops. People have had problems with those little strings wrapping around legs and cutting off circulation.
