When I went up to my larger cage I have been trying to think exactly what I wanted to do...
I didn't want a skirt because the drawback was it was a pain to remove without losing all the miscellaneous stuff it had caught. Also I wanted something on the inside that would keep everything inside so all I had to do was dump the tray.
I couldn't just put up flat sheets of anything because I have smaller side doors that I like to use... like my external bird bath.
So I was walking around Hobby Lobby and came across super thin 24"x36" plexiglass sheets for $5.95 each... I bough two.
I cut strips 8" wide and measured them to fit length wise exactly one after another for a tight custom fit... I even trimmed out the access door for the bird bath. I trimmed the panels with super adhesive electrical tape to soften the edges and give it a finished look. I attached the panels with screw washer washer nut combo's
For $14 total I like the results
