(Because it was too good to pass up maybe?)
(Because secretly I know I am dying to add CB's or Societies to my family)
(Because maybe I am a finch addict)

BECAUSE I CAN AND I DID! WOOOOOOT WOOOOOOT! GO NANA GO JENNIE IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY (not really) :YMPARTY: but it feels like it ;)

Very cool! Congrats!

Did you get this at Pet Goods, by the way? I was in there yesterday and they had a very similar cage for $100 but then 20% off of that. I was very tempted cause as you said, too good to pass up, but then I remembered my hubby would kill me and had to pass it up.

Have fun filling it up!!

Way to go, girl!

Is it a single cage, or is it divided into levels?

Nerien THANKS :) It is a single cage with the inserts to make it divided by shelves. I would just need to get some trays to layer it and prevent pooping on the neighbors below.

I cant believe I compulsively bought it LOL my family is just shaking their pretty little heads :)

Yay Jennie :-BD :YMPARTY: :YMAPPLAUSE: !!! You go girl!!! I think its the exact one I have. I divided it into 2 separate cages with an additional tray (I used some of the long wood perches it came with to hold up the tray). I bet you can make it into 3 cages if you can get 2 trays (amazon.com has them). Mine has 3 large access doors and tons of feed/water/nest box doors. I bet this does too!!! I cant wait to see the little feathered beauties you put in it!!!. Yay Nana =D>

What good finchaholics, we're all enabling her!

I am soooo jealous.

(But I am making headway on corrupting hubby. Keep mentioning those cute little B&W mannikins up at the yucky pet store. But they are too expensive. And he say, "yeah, for $60 each I'd rather have Owls". Now all we need is a cage, room for it, and the $$$$ for some owls....)

Jennie...I just got a mate for my RCCB and boy are they getting it on!!! Maybe they will actually have a clutch (although I HIGHLY doubt it)!!! If they do, you can have 2 of the juveniles when they are ready to go (same sex of coarse  ). Or if you want a m/f pair, you could at least take one of mine and look for another from a different blood line. I know that I am getting WAY ahead of myself, as CB's are impossible breeders...but Bluebell and Blueberry are so into one another that I have to remove them asap because they are attacking their flight-mates. I am going to put them into their own breeding cage 2morrow. I will keep you posted...

Jennie--two words, we do this all the time in my house:

Half Birthday.

(hubby, son and I are all within a week of each other in Oct-November, then daughter is New Year's Eve. Makes for 10 months with no birthdays in the house, too long & dry a spell, so we do half birthdays, quarter birthdays, sometimes third birthdays. Had my kids understanding fractions before kindergarten, nothing like the incentive of a present & cake to make them pay attention.)

Seriously.

Half Birthday. Quarter Birthday. Three Quarter Birthday. One-third Birthday. Two-thirds Birthday. Birthday. That covers 6 months of the year.

Want more? Add in One-sixth and Five-sixths. That only leaves out months one, five, seven, and eleven, which you can then cover by doing twelfths, if you really want.

Happy Half-Birthday to you, Happy Half-Birthday to you
Happy Half-Birthday Dear Jennie, Happy Half-Birthday to YOOOOUUU!
