Lavender Finches and Green Singer Finches
Have a pair of Green Singers and a pair of Lavenders in a flight cage. Could I add Senegal Fire or Diamond Fire finches. Was wondering if they would fight with the Lavenders?

Re: Lavender Finches and Green Singer Finches
I have all the species you've mentioned above. Lavenders, in my experience, have always been very friendly birds. They are quite timid and reserved at first but slowly form strong bonds with other birds even of other species. My lavender hen is best friends with one of my zebras (she is the gentlest zebra on the face of the earth) and has also recently gotten quite chummy with one of my african silverbill males. I wouldn't worry too much about lavenders creating chaos.
My fire finches, while small, have gotten quite cantankerous and gone after other birds on many occasions. For that reason, I don't keep them in a mixed aviary.
My firetails are isolated and have had one day where they were intermixed with other species and were very gentle to even the smallest of waxbills. However, they didn't have to live with them either. Just by the sheer size difference of firetails compared to other birds and also that they are classified as pushy/aggressive, I would not chance it unless I had a VERY LARGE outdoor aviary.
Green singers are supposed to be pushy when breeding, but mine don't really seem that way. I don't have them in my mixed aviary but I know others who do and they seem to do fine with other birds.
Hope this helps!

I think two pairs in a flight cage is ample, especially if you intend to try and breed them.

Green Singers and Diamonds are pushy. I would keep those separate from the waxbills. Lavenders are swift peaceful birds.
