outside aviary -aussie style

my aviary is in need of a good old fashion re-make. mainly constructed of timber /fibro cement sheeting etc it has the odd leak or two plus other drama etc it really needs a bit of work.
this may surprise you - i have diamond sparrows and split blue gouldians breeding happily away.....as the overnight temps hit -3 and daily temps sit on 5 celsius.
last night i had to place a bit of cover over one flight. parent gouldians with 4 young sit it out overnight on the perch.
plan to completely rebuild the aviary - material in use -fibro cement sheeting-R4 insulation bats in wall cavity and ceiling plus cement some of the floors.
if you'd like to see progress photos of the complete job i'd be happy to hear from you.
here's what i have to work with. i plan to divide it into 10 sections.it's a lot bigger than it looks. total area 15metes x 6 metres.

We'd love to see updates on your aviary remodel. This is one of the topics that gets many questions, as we in the U.S. have a lot less experience with building and maintaining outside aviaries. I believe many of us think we can't have outside aviaries unless we have very mild temperatures, yet outside aviaries are the norm in Oz.

wildbill, it sounds like you have quite a project on your hands. What part of Oz are you located?
