Need advice for aviary renovation

Hello all! I'm new here, and would like to share and discuss about my aviary...
It is roughly 1,5m width x 2,5m length x 2m height. Located under a balcony so it does not get rain, and during certain months it receives morning sunlight...
Here's some pics :)

Planted with dracaenas, ferns, and other safe plants - which the birds love to shred. From my experience if there's more plants than animals the plants are less likely to die from repeated damage since the bird's gnawing are dispersed.
At the top / ceiling I installed some fluorescent lamp (6500K) for the plants to photosynthesize, I dunno if it worked though, they're shade tolerant... For renovating reasons they are currently removed...

Here's the inhabitants:

These pictures were taken a year or two years ago.
Right now I want to renovate the aviary:
- install lightbulb for warming the birds at cold windy night
- re-plant again with dracaenas, sansevierias, ferns, carex grass, creeping fig, raphis, and scindapsus...
- do something to make cleaning the floor easier...
- the bunny is gone now, so plants will survive better hehehe... but I'm thinking of getting java finch, and pin tailed parrot finch, to accompany the canaries.

what do you think people? lets discuss! :) thank you!

It looks very nice! =D>
What is the spacing of the wire, it looks rather large. Not sure the light is really necessary either. :)

hurray my topic is approved! XD
the spacing may look large, but fear not, birds cannot escape, and pests like rodents cannot enter.
well the lighting is mostly for the plants' sake... the location only receives direct sunlight for 4 months max, the rest of the year it is shaded... why do you think its not necessary?

Looks good! I would be careful with pacing above 1/2 inch, they can squeeze! Whydahs and javas should both mix well with canaries, but whydahs can get pushy sometimes. You cage looks well enough for some!

no worries, spacing's not large enough and they never tried to squeeze... haha i've no plan on getting whydahs... they're very expensive where i live, so are gouldians, javas are the native birds so not as expensive.
was thinking if parrot finch, but they're too shy i heard...
