I have a question that can I change my birds cage when they have there nest with one baby (almost 3 weeks old). My cherry finces seems really wanna start breeding again, but I need to put them to another cage where are societies with their baby. This cage where are cherries atm, is much larger and I wanna put there all my 3 society finches and the young one, so I desided to swap their cages. Do you know is it ok? Also sorry about my bad English.

Not sure I understand what your trying to do but I would not move a nest with chicks till the chick is fledged and weaned. Why risk the parents abandoning it

I agree with Debbie, the intrusion may trigger the parents to abandon the chicks.

Changing anything with a chick in the nest is asking for trouble...don't do it.
