It's amazing!

Post by David » Wed Nov 20, 2013 6:35 pm

My finches will go back to nest to sleep when it's getting dark- around 5pm during winter; summer around 8pm since still bright outside. Even the babies know when it's time to go back to sleep too lol! How does finches know about time to sleep and in the morning they get up so early like near 6:30-7am. It's winter time now so they usually get up and jump on perches around 7am but in summer time they got up at around 630am. No wonder it's called Early-Birds. So amazing to see fledgling baby finches going back to their nest for the night hehe :) how about your birds? I'm sure they know the time to sleep and get up too right?

My birds get up as the sun rises and go to roost as the sun sets. Times change with the seasons :)

Thanks for your replies. They know when to get up& to go back to sleep, that's very funny! I liked my finches even chirp - chirp sounds before going to sleep :)
