Think cage is too small

Post by newfinchmom » Sat Oct 14, 2006 11:56 am

I just looked up the dimensions of the cage that was given me and this website said it should only house one bird. I think I will buy a bigger cage, disinfect it and transfer my living cordon and the new bird into the bigger cage. Then I can totally disinfect the old cage and use it as a hospital cage or quarantine cage.

That's a great idea. Use the smaller cage for the new bird and keep it in another room. That way both could be going through quarantine and save time.
