not much info ...is the light for heat or to imitate daylight make sure you have the right bulb

The specifications say 25% UVB, but it does not say about UVA percentage. Most avian bulbs are both UVA and UVB; however, that would be fine for offering daylight, I think.

Seeing how it's a reptile bulb it may be to high a color temperature (K) your looking for something 5000k to 5700k.
I also believe the UVB is too high

Natural sunlight has no more than 5% total UV content, of which only .1%—that is, 1/10 of 1 percent—is UV-B.

hmmm, anybody have a link to where I can buy a bulb and fixture?
I need one to get one to go on a 30" wide cage.

Airlyn-Yes that avian bulb is specifically for birds needs regarding UVB light and other details. They are a good choice.
