Where to keep my Zebras' cage during the Summer months???

I live in an area where it's not a smart idea to leave the windows cracked while no one is home, and there is no insulation in the house. I don't trust leaving a fan or the AC on while we're gone, either. So I was wondering: Where should I leave my finches' cage during the day when the house is shut up and no one is home??
ps- I'm not sure where the coolest spot is in the house.

Basements are always cooler.

So how hot does it get in the house? Zebras can take quite a bit of heat.

Sally is right, zebras do enjoy the heat. just dont leave them in direct sunlight and make sure they have access to plenty of drinking water.
if your really worried the bathroom is normally one of the coolest rooms in a house.
