On the garland, go through it very carefully to ensure there are no loops.
They're usually at the two ends and sometimes in the middle.

They're little plastic loops that are just the right size to trap a foot. I always cut them off.

Thanks a lot everyone! I have Societies in there. Moved them in today and they seem to really like it. They are still getting used to it though. Tonight they are all hunkered down in that one corner shelf area. I have it filled with grasses.

Thanks! It is a Hampton Prevue F075 divided breeder cage. It is 37in long, 18in deep and 20in tall. It does have a middle divider you can add of you want. I got it at Walmart.com. They do have one F070 that comes with a stand, but I did not want the stand. All the other stuff I already had from when I had hermit crabs.
