My New Galah Aviary for my New Galah
We recently got a Galah. Her name is Strawberry.
Because she is a lot larger than the other birds in the pheasantasiam I have to build her a separate aviary so she doesn't nip somebodies leg off or destroy everything in sight.
I have just started building the "Strawberry Patch"and hope to get some photos up soon, until then here is an introductory video of Strawberry

Re: My New Galah Aviary for my New Galah
Galahs are not that common in the US. Are you taking precautions with it just because it's larger bird with a big beak, as you might with any Cockatoo, or are they especially known for being aggressive, like Rosellas? I've heard some horror stories of Rosellas biting the feet off Cockatiels.
As far as hookbills go, I'm still at the Budgie / Parakeet stage... (little beak = little bite)

Nipper06 The Galah will not be housed with any of the other birds. I am building a new aviary for the Galah. Pictures about to be added.
