He is gorgeous, and he seems to have a lot of personality. Is he always this quiet? A friend rescues cockatoos, so she has quite a few of them, and they are LOUD!.

Sally I keep trying to video him making a racket, but he always goes quiet when I point a camera at him. I tried several times today but he outwitted me every time.
So yes, he can be VERY LOUD, and one day I will get it on film.

What a cutie. I just love Rose-breasted Cockatoos. The last one I handfed was a huge brat. when she was being handfed at home, Transformers 3 had just come out on TV so she imitated all the shooting/fight scenes quite well. She was a total twerp while you were handfeeding her later at the pet store. She'd rip the syringe out of your hand and beat it all over the counter top screaming, "PEW, PEW, PEW!" at the top of her lungs. By the time you got 12 cc's into her you and her were both covered in formula...lol
