Just a heads up for those of you who use these cages or are planning to buy one/several:

I would go to your local Petco and see if they have any left. It looks like they're currently being revamped and could be out of stock for some time. I work for petco and they've been changing anything from "petco" brand name to "well & good". When they do this, items are out of stock for long periods of time and we never know when they come back. The online store is currently out of stock as well.

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up as I know some of you use these for your finches.

I have three, they're the best cages around, unfortunate they're being discontinued.

I wouldn't say their being discontinued just yet. Petco is just changing their brand name. I asked my manager about the cages and she wasn't sure but agreed it was probably because of the name change. I was hoping the cages in the old packing would go on clearance but no such luck.

I actually emailed corporate and they said that the cages HAVE been discountinued but they sent my email on as sometimes the company changes their minds based on customer feedback.

Good to know! (Corporate doesn't tell the stores much) keep an eye on them. They may go on clearance!

I was told at a local Petco that these are NOT being discontinued but the supplier was being changed. But news from "corporate" trumps that.

I'm sorry to hear they won't be carrying them any longer. You can still get the Prevue version on Amazon for $50 though.

Honestly, that could be true too. They could have changed their minds. Petco corporate is useless...
