Mixed Aviary Pics

Post by JHitchcock » Wed Aug 13, 2008 3:08 pm

Thought I would throw up a few pics of my mixed aviary. Currently its just got a few randoms inside (societies, zebras and canaries) to keep it occupied until the exotics go back in.

Your Gouldies look fine...half of mine are in mid moult and look scruffy as hell.I need to sell some on, but if I sell my good looking birds I'm gonna finish up with a flight full of birds that look as if they've been in the washing machine :?

nice cage and nice looking birds.

to keep the wire that you are attaching your nests to a bit tighter at the top, put a tensioning cable at the top attached to the timber at at one end and a turnbuckle at the other(which is attached to the timber) this lets you tightened the cable which in turn keeps your wire tighter. this will help your nests to stay upright a bit better.
