Does anyone know of anywhere I can get some attractive weatherproof breeding boxes? I have attempted making some, and they are not the best to say the least. I am from Sydney Australia but would be willing to freight???? Any ideas???

By weatherproof, do you mean other than wood, like plastic?

Buy some commercially made ones for wild birds from a garden centre, these are usually pretty weatherproof if you buy better quality ones. You can always alter the hole size etc.

Good idea.. I will have a look. I would prefer wood over plastic but the thicker type that can withstand the weather! Thanks guys!

Finchie, i construct waterproof breeding boxes from 41/2" diameter plastic pipes which my birds love. They last forever and can easily be disinfected and washed.
