Hi folks! I've seen plenty of pictures here and read stories on putting cages together to make wider flight space. Well, I did it! Whatcha think??

GouldianGuy. Thanks!!! I also remember a topic about what people put in the bottom of cages. Ex. Newspaper, paper towels, etc. I used to use the oil dry all the time and decided to try puppy pads since I have a dog now. Seems to work just as well.

lem2bert you're right, they sure do!!! since breeding season is coming too a close for me, I put a few of the males in there. They swooped back and forth so fast! I know they love stretching their wings. :D

Great job!!! This is a lot easier than most folks think, if you are just a little handy with a pair of needle nose pliers and Zip ties. I did the same thing you did only I stacked the 30" flights one on top of the other. I would love to have the room to put four of these cages as one, or even Six! Wouldn't that be cool?

Looks great!

What are the dimensions?
And how do you get it to remain stable?

I have put two together, and had considered making it into a four together (with another two on top), but they're flimsy, and it just wouldn't be stable, and would need some sort of a support frame, which I haven't figured out yet.

I bet birdies are loving it :-BD

You can see mine in the lower left part of the picture, under Max and Kelsie's small cage.
