Shelter in aviary
I am not handy at all so while I can build the pvc frame for my aviary that I have planned I don't think I will be able to figure out a shelter part for them like most aviaries have. It will be under an unused car port but I think they need something to shelter them from the wind. I would like something pre made and so far have considered a chicken coop or a large dog house with perches added. I could put the dog house on a sturdy table or the like. I could also affix some kind of barrier to a flight cage I already have. I do not want to spend a fortune just on the shelter so any other low cost ideas would be great.

A cabinet or bookshelf might work.
A plastic tote, screwed to the wall works because I've done that. Drill a few holes in the sides of the tote so perches / branches can be put in.
Even a cardboard box will work, assuming we're talking finches and not hookbills.
