Aviary Building against haqks, cats.my, and other predators

I'm planning to build an aviary this spring. My area gets a lot of sparrows, wild finch, and other critters. I plan for an off the ground enclosure, with a mesh steel gauge wire. The cage will be partially enclosed with bird houses providing nesting houses. I need advice....
