Just look at these abandoned green houses in different areas in the States...

Can you just imagine what gorgeous aviaries they would make???

I want want want :(( :(( :((

Babs

It would be GRAND!!!

Bubba, could do a lot of the heavy stuff, Bill Gates' credit card, could pay for the rest.... :YMDAYDREAM:

Picking bird friendly plants and trees, setting up ittle waterfalls. Moss covered stones (I love moss...), little nooks with benches..... flowers everywhere.... An Auzzie corner with Auzzie trees and plants, for our Auzzie birdlings, an African corner, for all the tiny guys, a South American corner for future Tanagers.....

And the big day, when we bring our birdies over, and let them fly, sighhhh.....

Oh hi Iso.....

I can't remember exactly, but I think somewhere in New York State.
I'd have to see if I can find them again.

If they are truly abandoned, then getting them, would probably not be all that much, depending on whose land they sit on.

However, fixing them up and bringing them up to snuff, would cost a mint.... that's where Bill Gates would come in handy (with his credit card), lol.

Picking out the perfect decorative trees and putting up cool twisty, gnarled tree branches for perching. Heavenly sigh...

And telling Bubba to pull up his pants and stop showing us that butt crack. Snort!

Look what I found. And CoMtnGal: there is even a red siskin in it. Look how beautiful they are when they are healthy.

I want to know how they keep that fountain clean! I would LOVE to set up a small fountain for my guys, but keeping it clean seems ridiculously complicated. And mondo expensive.

Turn towards home, and go there. Many overs, over woods and fields, streams and hills, many overs. Just turn towards home. How else would one go there? Perhaps it was a dream, and you have awakened from it. May the earth rise up beneath you, with home in your heart, and your person waiting.

The one in the video:

There's a bird playing in it. But really, ANY fountain in an aviary.

Sojourner

I am seeing a blue tray with water (which probably needs to be changed regularly).

Aside from that though, I had considered the idea of those small fountains like the picture in the link below, but I think they would plug up very quickly. So I was thinking of adding them to the bird room, but not inside the flights, just for decoration, sound and to add some humidity.
