If you can't get into it this way, google: Home Aviary La Jolla, California, it is worth the effort.

If I were a rich girl......

A small bird room, but still lovely.

lovezebs - Elana, now you have me searching YouTube for aviary videos... Always another 'assignment'. And of course, I am more than willing to follow your lead.
Look what I found. And CoMtnGal: there is even a red siskin in it. Look how beautiful they are when they are healthy.

What a beautiful collection of birds.

I watched it several times, trying to identify all the different species. So far I got:
Diamonds
Fairy Wrens
Plumhead
White Eye
Red Siskin
Painteds
Owls
Gold Breasts
Melba
Eurasian Bullfinch
Some sort of Weavers
Maybe a Crimson
Maybe a Yellow Winged Pytilla
Maybe a Peter Twinspot

and a few more which couldn't identify :x

How many can you identify?

lovezebs - Elana, I didn't even try to identify most of them. Put the video to full screen, sat back and just enjoyed! Dreaming of how it could be... My husband was looking at me, our backyard, and said, "Oh no..."
Will have to watch it again later.

I did the same with my tablet, sat back and enjoyed. Then my silly curious brain started going, I know that one, and that one, and....where's the pen and paper #-o

Keep showing it to your hubby, over and over and over, untill he gets brain washed and gives in.

You have the space, you have the weather....

Tis best to NOT play these in the same room with your birds. Holy crow, I've never heard them make such a racket...

Wow!

I have a room maybe a little smaller than the second one. It's my sun/bird room. I could do that and have been tempted but not sure I want to clean the mess. lol.
Your all as bad as I am.
