Java Finch Nest Box

Post by Icearstorm » Mon Jul 17, 2017 7:14 pm

I couldn't find a decent-sized nest box for my Java finches for a decent price, so I made one with my dad. Was it worth 10, 15 hours of work in 80-90°F weather? Absolutely not. To make matters worse, I found a good parakeet nest box for $10 the next day. Oh well, it's finished now.

I designed it like a nest box for wild birds so it can be used outdoors if desired. I'd just have to put on a wider lid and figure out how to install it.

Very nice =D>

It is a gratifying thing when we can do things by ourselves instead of purchasing.
