toys for finches

Do finches enjoy toys? I'am getting 2 budgies and of coarse a load of toys for them, but should I buy toys for my finches as well?

Tish finches might use them some do and some don’t mine never have but then again my grandmothers uses the mirror and bell in there cage

I wish mine would instead I have to use foraging boxes which just get messy lol

Okay that’s good and u have hamsters I have two dwarf hamsters aswell a Chinese and a Russian white

Yeah I have 2 syrian hamster's named Sophie and Sammy. Also a Russian dwarf named Peanut. They make great pets.

Tish well the hamsters i have weren’t originally mine they was my brothers girlfriends but they have ended up becoming mine lol

I've never seen a finch "play" with a toy as hook bills sometimes do, but they will land on them on occasion. For me, toys and such interfere with flight, especially in a small cage, which I try to avoid. I like the birds to get as much flight time as possible.

Your finches might enjoy a swing placed on one side of the cage out of the line of flight. They would probably like a foraging box and as much flight space as possible more than anything. Might like a little timothy hay too.
