I am wanting to install a 2ft 6in 5000K 90CRI light tube in my bird house. Does anyone know where i can get a 2ft 6in fitting

Are you in the U.S.?

It may be that you need to look at aquarium supply sources to get a fixture with that length.

No i am in the uk. Thanks for your reply. I will try the Aquarium stores to see if i can get one.
