Aviary Help

How thick should the wood of the frame be for an aviary of finches? Is 1 in x 1 in good enough or should it be thicker?
Another question, for the flooring of the aviary, would it be fine if I had a drawer on the bottom where I could easily take out floor paper and replace it with new paper? (I also don't plan on having wire mesh on the bottom of the cage either.

tobiask190 make sure the floor is lifted off the ground to stop it going rotten, I personally think fake grass is best

Ah, it'll be an indoor aviary, actually. It'll be around 4 by 2 by 4 in dimension. I'll be having two feet underneath it for storing food, bird supplies, and whatnot

tobiask190 ok haha and just a little thing I wish I did is that I wish I painted it a certain colour that doesn’t make the pop stand out as much on the inside because over time it stains on the paint
