Indoor multi-species AVIARY vs. Individual Flight Cages?

I noticed a beautiful indoor aviary built by a member here. :D I've been thinking of building something similar, maybe 6'wide, 3'tall, 2'deep. Right now, I have opted for keeping two species -- gouldians and stars -- in separate cages, but I love the idea of an aviary where all of them could have more room to fly. That said, I don't want them hassling one another, because right now they are so content and comfortable. The stars are so active and might bother (and run into trouble with) the much larger gouldians. I would look to add two more cordon bleus, if I had a larger "aviary." I welcome any thoughts on mixing these species. :?:

Don't think you would have any problems with C/B and gouldians,I dont have stars but I think they would all get along in that size aviary.

I agree with Bill provided you offer them all spots of privacy within the aviary.

I have all three of those together and they do great. But be sure there is plenty of room and as Liz said, lots of privacy.

I have stars, goulds, owls, bronze wings, societies, orange cheeked waxbills, cordon blues and shaft tails all in a flight 8 ft long 4 ft tall and 2 ft wide and they all get along fine. They have plent of privacy because i made sure the flight was well planted. They love it and everyone is trying to start their own little families.

Jamezyboo21: I have a flight w/ the same height as yours. What kinda plants did you put in it? Do you keep it indoors? I'm thinking of adding some birds in my flight and want to put some plants in it.

I use fake plants so they cant tear it up and when i clean the cage i can take the plants out and bleach clean them. I bought most from Hobby Lobby. I will try to put pics up when i can borrow a camera from my sister or a friend.
