Right now my finches seem very very happy in the cage that they are in. But I came across this website where you can put in your cages demensions and it tells you how many finches you should have in your cage. Well, it pretty much told me that my cage was WAY WAY too small for the amount of birds I have in it. So I was wondering...how many birds could go in a cage that is about-
W- 30 inches
L- 18 inches
H- 18 inches
What do you think??
How big for how many birds??

That size cage is commonly used for one pair of finches - especially if the birds are breeding. While you may be able to put more than 2 finches in this cage - I would definitely not put in more than 4 in a cage this size - and that would depend on the species as well, as that would be to many birds in that size cage for some species.
