Hi Mobster.

are they zebs u got?

cages are a little small for my liking, and the one perch dos'nt work for me. do you have much success in these cages? when the young fledge it would get pretty crowded in the cages, do you then move them to a aviary or bigger cage?

I'm with Jarryd here. to me the cages in the first & third pictures are too small. but thats just my opinion, I believe that the more exercise a bird is able to get the healthier it will be

If there are dividers in any of them they need to be taken out. The birds need more room.

Nice cage bank. I can see that it has partitions that can be pulled out to make larger flights. I use some similar to this for breeding. I also have wire partitions so mates can see and get aquainted through the bars...especially helpful with canaries. Then I can put solid partitions so the breeders can have privacy... then when they have young I can either seperate the babies so the the parents can still feed fledglings trough the bars(if still begging) or just open the whole cage without any partitions into a flight cage. I love the flexibility to the flights.
What are you breeding? I don't have any problems breeding in smaller sections but it is good when birds are resting from breeding to get good exercise in a large flight. Nice set up

They're not my comfortable size for breeding. But although everyone is different and birds do still breed. I must say it pretty nice how you arrange it.

I like to breed in bigger cages, though mine aren't really very big, 30x18x18 or 34x18x18. To me, the problem with small cages is that once the babies fledge, they also need to live in that same cage till weaning time, and then it can get a bit overcrowded.

Why do you have your stand legs placed in metal cans? Does this keep ants out of your cages?
