Surprise Cage Deal

I had a classified ad on Kijiji bird and a fellow in my town contacted me and wanted to know if I wanted to buy some cages. There were 3 rolling stands (the type that hold 4 cages) 9 cages 24" x 16" x 16", some white and some chrome. 2 square finch cages.. 16" square and 30" tall. A Brand New Hova-Bator incubator (retails for $229.00) A great step stool, and 1 roll of wire 1/2" x 1/2" and 1 roll of 1/4" x 1/4".
All of this for .... $ 116.00
He is moving across state and had sold all of his birds a while back. He is taking his one canary and 2 pet sulphur crested cockatoos with him. He said he contacted me because he liked the color of my birds on the add
I sure am glad he did.

Sounds like a great deal! Kijiji is a magical place. I have a co-worker who is addicted; we joke that she'll take things from right under her daughter's nose just to sell.

Kijiji is where I dicovered my last 4 birds. There are a lot of great deals on there. As well as some not so great.

Glad to hear you found a good deal for some cages!
I always patrol Craigslist...Kijiji and Hoobley for birds and or cages....I am not buying any right now but it is fun to see what is offered and how the prices are.
I probably shouldn't look as I get very tempted when I see a good deal on finches...sigh!

I think you all missed the surprize..... I wasn't looking on the site to buy anything. I simply placed an ad to sell a bird. Someone contacted me not to buy my bird but to sell me cages?????
I found this to be a great surprize....as I wasn't even shopping, didn't even need cages.... but when someone approaches you with a deal like that....well yeah....I'm shopping now

Ah see? I thought you had a classified ad looking for cages on Kijiji and someone responded that they had some! There I go presuming things out of hand again.
